Charitable gifts to the Green Foundation are tax deductible, and may be made by check (payable to the Green Foundation), cash, or stocks and bonds, and given in honor or memory of others. Giving appreciated stock may be advantageous to the donor by providing capital gains savings on the appreciated value of the stock.
Gifts-in-kind may also be tax deducible for the donor, and may include certain services, landscape materials, or other items needed in the mission of the Green Foundation.
In some instances, charitable gifts may be designated for specific projects or programs of the Green Foundation.
Support provided to the Green Foundation by becoming an Associate Member, a member of the Advocates Guild, or the Community Leadership Council is considered to be tax deductible.
