The Community Leadership Council is a non-governance body of the Newport News Green Foundation, established to serve as a resource in the community and helps provide support for the mission of preserving a greener future for the City of Newport News.

There are varying levels of "leadership giving" within the Community Leadership Council, and distinctive recognition in the community.

Role of the Community Leadership Council

• Be an advocate in the community for the Green Foundation, helping to generate awareness of its impact on the future of the community
• Serve as a resource in the community for the Green Foundation
• Provide leadership in the community by providing annual support for the work of the Green Foundation.
